Hi, my name is Jen, I’m the owner of LV Pilates. In 2015 I was in a car accident that left me with spinal injuries, nerve damage to my hip and leg, as well as some issues with my bladder. Months into rehab, my physiotherapist got me into a local Pilates class. I had never done Pilates before, and to begin with it was a struggle because I couldn’t always use my leg properly because of the nerve issues.

I stuck with the Pilates and enjoyed it so much, I upped my classes to twice weekly, and have never looked back! I quit my job, signed up for a personal training qualification and as soon as that was complete, began studying Pilates.


In 2017, I started teaching my first Pilates classes. It felt like a dream come true!

In the past 3 years, I have become especially interested in how both Pilates and strength training in the gym can help those with injuries or health issues. Alongside mat Pilates classes, I have worked with many clients on a 1-2-1 basis in order to tailor to individual needs.

After participating in reformer Pilates classes throughout 2019, it took Pilates to a whole new level for me and I fell in love with this type of exercise all over again and just knew I wanted to teach it too!
